In his last care package we sent him a Balloon Animal Making Kit!
For fun we sent he and his companion this silly balloon animal making kit. I wasn't sure if they'd even do anything with it! But, I guess they did! I think they had a good time! And leave it to AJ to experiment with one by filling it with water and freezing it. No sought he peeled the balloon off in the morning and had his very own balloon animal ice sculpture! I be he loved doing something with his hands! I'm sure that is one of his biggest sacrifices while on a mission. Every day since he was 3 he has been building, designing, cutting, crafting, engineering, fixing, creating.
Q & A.So, getting answers to questions aren't so easy. Here's one example of our Q and A: Some questions for you. Did you have a baptism on Saturday? Pictures? How many discussions did you teach this week? Any new investigators? What was the best meal you had this week? Love you very much. Do your best. Work hard. Pray all the time about everything. Love, Dad Here's our Answer, he answered one! Well, he also sent the photo of the baptism and explained that it had been a slow week. So maybe we didn't send very good questions. The best food I had this week was a really healthy meal with a lot of flavor. A salad with lots of vegetables and a homed huckleberry vinaigrette dressing. A really good chicken cooked with lemon, and a strawberry shortcake and coconut gelato. I love healthy, but it's a bit hard with the budget. But I do well. It's been a slow week, but I'm working hard! But what's great about what he shared is, it made me realize how much he'd love to make his favorite soup. I didn't think he'd have all the right ingredients, so I had some groceries delivered to his house! It worked out so well. |
