Last Monday, after emailing, it started to rain. And when it rains, it floods here. Since it was our P-Day (Preparation Day, the missionaries get one day a week to email home, shop, do laundry, and have a little fun if they can squeeze it in), we played football in the storm and got drenched. We had a blast, it was awesome. I made a few touchdowns, it was great. The water was nice and warm, and I found a piece of plywood and a long stretch of puddle and used it like an 8 foot skim board. That was so fun too. It was just a fun day.
Our zone has been a bit sick lately, and under the weather. We have been still working, just not as well as previous weeks. Our area is 14 miles long, and 2 miles wide. There are two sets of missionaries in it and we have a car, while the other Elders do not.
I have been knocking on a lot of doors and had someone swear at us for the first time yesterday. One time in nine weeks of knocking doors: not bad! I'm not worried about knocking on doors or teaching lessons.
I hope all is well with you.
Love,
Elder Tucker
