My companion's ukulele got broken this week. Somebody sat on it and it broke into four pieces. It's a nice, well made concert ukulele, worth about $150. I was able to borrow some clamps and fix it for him. It works but there's a bit of a buzzing coming from the frets. I can fix that too, I think. He thought it was gone for good. He was angry, and sad, and quiet. I told him what happened to me on my 16th Birthday. How I got that GoPro, stuck it to my skimboard, and lost it in the ocean the very next day. I told him how we combed the beach looking for it, we prayed, but we never found it. And what I learned from the experience. He realized this was a challenge, and he wasn't facing it with the best attitude. He knows that challenges make us better. If I can borrow the tools I can fix it properly, and send you some pictures next week.
I love you,
I love you,
I've been learning to play the ukulele, listen to this.
