I'm glad the car is on it's way to America. That's a great reassurance. (We're shipping the little Triumph Spitfire AJ was working on in London to Los Angeles)
Things are great here. It IS hot, but not too bad. It's been a pretty slow week. The Cowl's son moved in, so we moved out. So now we are in an apartment complex. It has a workout room, that's cool.
We share the longest area in the zone, it's city up top and country and with some spotted neighborhoods down low. So we end up driving quite a bit. And now, even more because the other elders we shared the car with lost it.
I love your great news (finding a house).
We have been working with a guy named Stou, spelled like soup. When we got here we were double transferred in and the sister missionaries, and they had been working with him. He had a problem with chewing tobacco and has been without chew for over four weeks. He is going to be baptized this Saturday. His wife is already a member of the church, and he has a son who is completely active. They are a great family.
Good luck to you.
AJ also wrote to his sister for her 16th birthday. He gave her great dating and driving advice. Something about, if you go on any dates I'm going to pound the punk. He gave her driving advice: something about try to avoid hitting grandmas! I watched her read it, she laughed and teared up all at the same time. It is tough having your big brother gone sometimes! She said how much she missed him.
