There was much going on back "home" this week, so when I stumbled upon a great airfare, I just HAD to make the trip so I wouldn't miss it all!!!! The 3 exciting events included:
1. My niece, Adriana, reporting for Boot Camp in Oklahoma (who knows when I'd see her
2. The wedding of Natalie Falk: a beautiful girl inside and out, from my Sunday School class.
I had the priviledge of teaching her and her twin brother, Nate for two years.
3. The Missionary send off of Morgan Cross: another amazing girl from my Sunday School class.
In addition to these big events, this trip allowed me the opportunity to run all around and visit with dear friends, what a treat! One problem: I really should have taken more pictures of these people!

I still have more pictures to upload, and these are all very out of order. But...they're up! I just wanted to take a second to compliment my husband publicly. The guy knows how to impress! The morning I left, little Jaxon was ill. I thought it would last another 24 hours, and then the family would be fine. But, no no! Things did not work out so well. Jaxon stayed sick the entire week. Emily because pretty sick as well. Those two were home from school, whiney and needy for the ENTIRE week. I came home this morning, and Jaxon was still home from school. He is on antibiotics now, but he was still a bit needy and demanding. I felt so bad that Jason had all of that to deal with, a visit from the Landlord, plus the guy had to work. He just really did such a great job, I feel confident that I could pick up and take off again real soon.....
J.K!!!!! Only kidding, Jas!
You're amazing.

So these are the rest of the photos from my trip! Surprising Adriana was just so great. I loved seeing her, and giving her the biggest hug ever. She now is in her third week of bootcamp. She's a beautiful, strong, hard working girl, I know she'll do well.
After surprising Adriana, I spent all day Monday with two of my sisters and my mom. We went Segwaying in downtown San Antonio. It really was quite fun! We were able to cover a lot of ground without feeling bored or tired. I wonder if I could do a segay tour through the Louvre on my next trip! I think I'd totally enjoy that!!!
I actually enjoyed my drive up to Dallas from San Antonio. It was nice to be able to just drive fast on an open highway on the RIGHT side of the road. I do miss those Texas big sky sunrises and sunsets! Then this last photo is out my seat window on my flight back home. Soon after I heard that it would be a balmy 0 degree celsius upon landing. Lovely.
