It was a pretty warm day in July, and I wanted to do something fun with the kids. I looked online for some sort of fountains or something to cool us down. WE FOUND SOME!!! The Somerset house. It was an old Tudor house in the 16th and 17th Centuries right off the Strand and the River Thames. It was redesigned by Sir Williams Chambers in 1776 as a great public building to develop national pride. A tad ironic then that we were there this 4th of July to celebrate our independence from this great nation that very same year. I had no idea, I was just out to find a fun place for the boys!
