It was so much fun having our first visitors. Janae, Jaxon, and I went to the airport to meet the Berretts. And the cutest thing, Jaxon spotted his little friend Tori before we did, and just as natural as Janae hugging her friend Abby, Jaxon ran right up to Tori and gave her a BIG HUG! He then proceeded to hold her hand until we got settled and to the car. It really was priceless. What a sweet little reunion. We gathered their luggage, took their youngest two kids home by car, and Janae lead the rest of their family into London by Underground where they eventually met up with Jason at the Tower of London. These are some quick pix from iphones and such. We skipped school because my kids really wanted to show the Berrett's Hampton Court Palace. They have such fond memories of checking it out last time that they were anxious to take the Berrett's there. The reenactment was a hoot, it was pretty interactive, and took a good portion of our time. We were searching the palace looking for the soon to be Charles VII's who knows what number wife? It was hilarious. It was quite a cold day, and the days are getting dark so quickly, it just sort of was all over before we were quite ready. We had plans and tickets to take our girls to see Wicked that evening. But the Hampton Court stuff ended up taking so long, we just ended up leaving right from the Palace to go to the theatre. A bit embarrassed as we were way underdressed and a bit of a mess from playing "IT" in the muddy gardens.
