Emily is in a women's choir at school that she loves! After their more traditional pieces, they sang a Hairspray Medley. Most of these photos are of her and her good friend Sydnee. The transition of living here, figuring out teams and friends, has been a bit rough. But Emily has made some wonderful friends and is settling into many activities that keep her busy, and happy. So we are so happy to see her doing so well. We are grateful she's enjoying things like choir and that she's made such good friends!
Jaxon has been growing and changing so much! He still misses London. He asks when we can go back all the time. And often it's because he wants the yogurt that we used to get there or he wants to go back to get his friend, Muad. But he's settling in well. We live in a neighborhood with a ton of little kids. They just run around and play together. It has been such a blessing for this kid. Actually, he probably likes it here the most of all of us, not that I think of it! But he is learning, and growing, and is conforming a lot more. He's been doing karate, riding his scooter, reading, and he loves to blast his teenage sister's tunes and have dance parties (I'm sure his friends' parents love it! (not).
Elder Tucker sent Jaxon a special little package. It had a Las Vegas shirt (which was signed...To Jaxon, Love A.J., your big brother. He also included an old name tag). Jason LOVED it! He felt so special and loved. He wore the shirt to school, took a picture of his brother and asked the teacher to show everyone! So cute. He loves that big brother of his so much! We really felt A.J.'s presence through that little package. Jaxon had a great day at school and a little swimming party with 8 of his neighborhood/church friends. And thanks to Grandma's help, it was a wonderful day! |
