For us, the games began on Wednesday in Glasgow, Scotland where we watched the US Women's soccer team play France
Once we were in Glasgow, we walked around the city some. It was interesting, everyone was so nice, but I'd have to make them repeat what they'd say like a couple times because that thick Gaelic accent made it difficult to understand them sometimes. While we out and about we were interviewed my a BBC 1, you'll see some pictures below, not sure if we made it on the news, because we were busy attending the USA soccer game. The game was great fun. We supported the team by painting faces, bringing our flag, and cheering REAL loud! Me and the girls were interviewed by a Scotland paper, and we were PUBLISHED in the morning news. So, by now, Janae's feeling pretty important, I think she's even giving out autographs!
USA won 4-2, after being down 0-2, it was an exciting game! We headed back home the next day, and are now back home doing chores, grocery shopping and doing laundry (this line drying thing is a bit tedious!) We're excited for the opening ceremony this evening. We sorely miss US TV as we are not getting all the back stories of American athletes, or other US hype, it's all "Go Team GB!" Gets a bit tiresome! But, it's fun to attend, eh?~
