He's super intense (always has been)
He's charming (when he chooses to be)
Gentle and loving
Crazy
He's smart
He's a lot like his brother AJ, wants to know how everything works
He's a great singer
And he's fast!
We love our new 6 year old!!!
Jaxon has just been so much fun. He's really getting into art and writing. We find him writing letters to his friends and family all the time. If only he can master the finger spaces after each word, sure would make reading his letters much easier! And they teach phonics and reading so differently here. Different in a good way, I think! They teach letter sounds and lower case letters first. In fact, he's in his second year of school, and they still don't focus on letter names. But he can read and write and he enjoyed it. Jason was so excited this Christmas! He bought Taylor Swift Concert tickets for he and the girls. They call it Swifting! When they all dance and sing to Taylor Swift (in the car, at home, wherever)!!!! But the sad news was, Jason had to work. He was in the U.S!!! So I had to go to the concert with them!!!! oh, it's tough sometimes to be a mom. We had a great time, but they were sad that their dad couldn't be there with them being goofy, as usual. It's great to have an excuse! Emily learning to bake is my excuse for why my workouts haven't been producing promising results to my waistline. My mom taught Emily how to make cinnamon rolls while she was here, and Emily has been baking them weekly ever since. It's really quite impressive to see Emily use her new-found skills, but seriously she might just need to start a business, because this whole EATING them thing each week, probably isn't the best! But if we haven't tempted you to come on out and visit by sharing our beautiful photos of London, her baking might just put you over the edge~ Come on over! |
